Our goal is to ensure that no one's personal estate is mishandled, to avoid the inconvenience, delay and expense of administration without a Will. Will making is not an act of giving up on life, but a responsible act of ensuring your loved ones will benefit from your estate when you pass away. In fact, anyone over 18 years of age should have a will. If you don't make a will, your estate will be disposed of under the rules of intestacy. Intestacy means the law applying to people who have died without a Will. These rules may not produce the results that you would wish, especially if you have young children, if some of your close family lives overseas, if you have extensive assets, and if you have any outstanding debts and taxes. Greatwill is a mobile and online app that provides a simple, easy to use end-to-end process for drafting your Will and also maintain the stewardship of your will. We help you maintain the contact details of your executors, guardians, and beneficiaries. When necessary, Greatwill will activate notification to the relevant parties. Greatwill provides a simple and legally valid Will in all jurisdictions in Australia . It specifies: - instruction on how your estate is to be distributed so that your loved ones, including your dependents, will be taken care of;- any special items you wish to gift to your siblings, elders, and the community;- the person you trust (Executor) to carry out the instructions in your Will; and- any specific instructions such as funeral arrangements and organ donation. Additionally with Greatwill, you are able to store a video recording of yourself that will be included with your Will when delivered to your loved ones. With the video, your loved ones can ensure that your last words and final wishes are handled properly.
