Realizing that the biggest cause of ecological problems is man, we decided as a group at the beginning, later as a team, and finally as a foundation we created Greek Eco Project. Our foundation is composed of people sensitized environmentally, operating in different sector occupations (scientists, merchants, teachers, athletes, parents, communicators etc.). The common denominator is the love for nature and above all great appreciation, humility and gratitude for life, for all the goods that the earth offer us, its creation and its creatures. And of course the luck be born, to grow up, to live in a blessed place, so historically rich and with the richest biodiversity in the planet, Greece. We owe to give this perception to our children as a foundation gem, through actions. To put into practice the sense of duty we have in the face of such a big problem. Considering that the ignorance of people on climate change is enormous, we decided to aim for the greatest and best information. The most effective way to do this is through activities, entertainment, volunteering and visual arts. The establishment of the Greek Eco Project has as an initial goal the creation of a large ecological theme park. This park, shall be a place where exhibitions, workshops, conventions, events will be organized and held, under the umbrella of protection and restoration of the natural environment. All this will be done together with the members, volunteers, supporters, young and elder and finally with the help of local and state carriers, schools, universities, etc. The Greek Eco Project was founded in order to undertake, create, organize and implement missions and projects of ecological and environmental character, something that is urgently needed in Thessaloniki, Chalkidiki and consequently all of Greece.
