How the seed was planted.It all started when Paul and I, two old school friends, met for a cup of coffee.That day, we developed an idea: to establish an ethical food organization, based on a revolutionary new business model. In our company, the small farmers would be partners and would directly benefit from the business' growth and revenues. At the same time, our organization would contribute to the consumers' community by providing a source of revenue to local organizations and institutions.This idea grew, and Green Awakening was born; an inclusive and socially responsible organization that would produce a delicious, fair trade certified and organic coffee.A cup of coffee never felt so good!
