Based in London, Green Era is a self-funded organisation, initiated by the family and friends of South Asian expatriates all striving to work "for the deprived communities and groups, existing in the transforming and developing South Asian nations." Now we are supported by a growing army of anonymous, stressed London commuters and shoppers, visitors and students who despite problems of their own never fail to delve into their pockets and purses to help those worse off wherever they may be. For the present managerial body of "Green Era" is firmly determined to remain small and to deliver the greatest impact by concentrating on developing strong relationships with the established national and international Non-Governmental Organizations already active in the region.Carrying better ideas, concepts and more focused concerns for the major causes within the South Asian region, Green Era is constantly in contact with impoverished and impecunious families and groups of the third world countries struggling hard to provide themselves with the most basic necessities of life.Our sole reason for being here and our utmost commitment is directly associated with the overall growth and development of the penurious South Asian inhabitants who desperately need our creativity and sheer practical support right now.
