Green Fox Training Studio Details
Green Fox Training Studio is a creative training facility, first established within a high-security Queensland prison. Since 2019, the Green Fox Studio team has worked one on one with prisoners intent on turning their lives around, offering them comprehensive, work-ready training in graphic design, desktop publishing, coding, 3D modelling, animation and more, providing real-world employment and experience within the creative industries.Our prison-based training studio provides intervention, rehabilitation and economic opportunity for detainees, meaningfully affecting the community to which the overwhelming majority of offenders return.Since our inception, we have trained almost 200 prisoners in the creative arts (as of August 2021). We are proud to say that in the past 12 months, 29 of these men have been released from prison, and only one has returned to custody. This means the recidivism rate among our students sits at just 4%, compared with almost 50% in the wider community.By working with Green Fox Studio, you are helping to change the lives of some of the most disadvantaged members of the community.
