Green Garden is a plant and landscaping business belonging to the tertiary sector that was created for two main objectives – to provide assistance towards a beneficiary in need by both financial and experiential means, and to earn profit in order to do the former. In terms of products, the business offers over 70 different types of diverse and unique plants that come at very affordable prices. In terms of services, the business is also equipped to perform landscaping, and will gladly provide the plants needed for it.Green Garden commenced its operations during the year 2014 and operated for a total of six years. It was a partnership between us, the Year 12A class of Centre for International Education (CIE) British School – Cebu, and our beneficiaries, Shaira Labaya and her family. Our class was running the business and its main operational activities throughout all six years (from Grade 7 to 12), with our beneficiaries supplying the products of the business. Upon graduation in 2020, we turned over the operations, funds, and management of the business to our beneficiaries. Currently, the family is still managing the business and is in touch with us from time to time. Beyond the business, we have created a personal relationship with them that is sure to last.
