Green Highway has a mission to bring university research together with business and government partners to solve real-world challenges in food, energy, water, and waste. Structured as a 501(c)3 not for profit, Green Highway's mission is to change the way that research institutions, industry, and government work together to cooperatively realize the goal of commercializing leading edge technologies and better the world we live in. We seek to connect funding opportunities with great research product, and 'germinate' this technology to a point where it can be applied at a commercial scale.The challenges facing a growing population are global challenges. Therefore global connectivity is a prime mission for this initiative. In order for research to be focused on solving "real world" problems, academia, industry and government must work collaboratively to move research from ideation to commercialization.
