Green Hills Farm & Community (GHF&C) is an alternative new life living model providing an integrated community including: residence, main street with businesses, farm with multiple profitable revenue generating businesses, on site employment & training and social & recreational activities. GHF&C embraces green living, organic agriculture, farming, outdoors and fitness, as well as the arts, spiritual faith and a sense of community. Creating the first and only, non-profit independent community for special need/disabled adults that is self-sustaining via "for profit" businesses.Our unique community was developed after years of research and visiting many residential communities both in the US and abroad. The residential community offers a variety of housing options for clients, employees and family members. It is important to note that this is an integrated community within the larger community.After completion of the first community this will become the model for additional communities through out the country. We plan to build many of these communities and share our knowledge, resources and best practices with other interested parties.
