Green Initiative Details
Green Initiative is a student activity headquartered at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. We strive to make an impact in solving the energy and environmental crises. Our endeavors can be summarized into spreading awareness of our cause among the society, and empowering the society to put this awareness into impactful actions. Since our foundation in 2012, we have been expanding our activities to further deliver our message. Throughout the past years we have managed to conduct various workshops in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and green building. We have built numerous prototypes to further demonstrate the concepts explained, and we have expanded the scope of our workshops to include school students. Moreover, we have organized conferences and participated in various events to reach even more audience, and leave an even bigger impact.Our Vision: A community striving for a sustainable world.Our Mission: Enlighten and empower the society to tackle the ongoing energy and environmental challenges.
