Launched in 2018 as a community for dreamers looking to re-evaluate their daily plastic habits, reduce plastic use and inspire others to do the same. Together, we can make those dreams come alive and create a path to sustainable living for future generations.Be prepared to challenge yourself and re-evaluate habits you never thought needed evaluating. Here, you can expect to find an encouraging and uplifting environment with many success stories (and many failures too…)! I will be the first to admit that I don't have all of the answers or a ton of experience, but I do have a passion to make a change.In 2017, my hubby and I took a small, much needed vacation to Miami. We spent a few days soaking up the sun and relaxing on the beach with the sand between our toes. But as we sifted our fingers through the sand, we couldn't help but notice all of the tiny particles of plastic that fell through… It was during this time I was feeling down and didn't know how I could make a difference as just one person. Then, I found out about a movement called #stopsucking and realized there are so many things I could do! Being more aware of the things I use and why I use them became my first goal.Now its 2018… home for me is a condo I share with my husband (Seth), our dog child (Jax) and an unnecessary amount of plants (most still living). I have realized that when it comes to me living a greener lifestyle, I need some accountability and structure. In a world that sets us up to use plastic with no regard… I dream about something much greener. So, I would like to introduce to you my blog, Green Life Dreams.On this blog I plan on brainstorming realistic, relevant ways we can come together to make a much needed impact.
