Green Street Vault Details
Boston's premiere retail truck specializing in Men's street and skate apparel & footwear. Founded in 2011 by a couple of weirdos (Derrick Cheung / Howard Travis), the truck took the Boston streets by storm, and caused quite a stir with local authorities. Due to some ancient by-laws written into Boston law that have yet to be amended, the pull-up-and-sell concept was deemed illegal by the City of Boston and its officials, creating a roadblock (lol) for the small start-up. After Travis moved onto other things, Cheung led the creation of the Green Street Jungle and Kyoto Jungle Pop Up shops on Boston's historical Newbury Street and Gloucester Street. Cheung also designed, operated, and managed A$AP Rocky's A$AP ARMY TANK truck on his country-wide LONGLIVEA$AP Tour in late 2012. While the truck's daily retail operation is currently not operating, Cheung and his team of designers, engineers, and straight up hustlers continues to consult for food trucks, retail trucks, storefronts, and any truck-related endeavors.
