Green Wireless Systems provides a highly disruptive approach to water management that can save customers 35-40% of their initial, significant installation investment, and 25-30% of their ongoing water use. Deployment to our targeted commercial, institutional and public landscaping projects (e.g. freeway planting, parks, stadiums, airports, housing projects, shopping centers, office parks) provide us with an initial market opportunity of $850M per year and can save 2% of all freshwater nationwide; representing, in California alone, 500K acre feet and 500K metric tons of CO2 per year. Follow-on markets, including golf courses and large homes expands the addressable market to $2B per year. Our system provides wireless mesh control of water valves and moisture sensors, managed via a modern, web- and PDA-based interface. Our sweet spot is any landscaping that requires long runs of wire to connect controllers to water valves. The cost of running wires in any landscaping application is enormous, and a significant maintenance headache; we eliminate this, greaty reduce the number of controllers required, and use smarts based on our moisture sensors to obtain ongoing, meaningful water savings. Since no company has offered a centrally controlled, wireless irrigation solution for non-agricultural applications, GWS has the opportunity to become the standard for the targeted market. The upfront savings resulting from our system provides a compelling reason for the drivers in this market, the commercial landscape architects, to recommend our system. They and the irrigation contractors can either reduce their bids significantly to win the business, or split the difference and realize higher profits. Our initial discussions with key landscape architects and contractors confirms the uniqueness of our offering and that we're an easy choice. CalTrans and its key landscape contractors are our intitial go-to-market targets. President Obama's stimulus package is upside to our business plan. Nearly all infrastructure work will require landscaping. We extend the funds targeted for irrigation systems by 30+% and deliver a green, water savings story.
