Third-generation vegan burgers that accurately replicate the organoleptic characteristics of beef and its nutritional profile;, improving some of its nutritional and healthy properties (low saturated fat content, high content of omega-3 fatty acids and DHA and incorporation of bioactive substances for improving health properties and preventing diet-related diseases). Sustainability attributes are radically improved by using enabling technologies. The company is planning to launch its third-generation vegan burgers in the first quarter of 2022.3. Cultured beef burgers, which incorporate aggregates of skeletal muscle cells of bovine, poultry, or turkey, obtained by culturing continuous cell lines of skeletal muscle cells or mixes of skeletal muscle cells and satellite muscle cells in bioreactors. The primary skeletal muscle cells and satellite cells are obtained from painless biopsies of live animals. This animal protein free of animal slaughtering are mixed with a plant-based ingredient developed by the startup that incorporates non-hydrogenated vegetable oils. A reduction of 78-96% of the carbon footprint and 82-96% of the water footprint and 99% land for conventional meat production.
