Greenville, Texas Habitat for Humanity, Inc (Habitat) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that builds houses utilizing donations of materials and services, as well as financial contributions, from businesses, civic groups, faith organizations and individuals. Houses are then sold to qualifying partner families at no profit and through a no-interest mortgage. Payments are 'recycled' to help build new homes for additional partner families. While homeowner mortgage payments contribute to the construction of a new house, it's by the generous support of local individuals and businesses which make it possible for Habitat to build more homes.
