Thank you for allowing me to tell you a little bit about what a Certified Notary Signing Agent does and why there is a large need here in this state and specifically for the Upstate. Many of us know that a Notary Public holds State Government Certification to notarize documents. In the process, we verify that the signer is indeed who they say they are. This is proven by showing the Notary Public some form of VALID, Government-issued ID. In some cases, documents require more identification (ie. Social Security Card, Medicare Card/etc.)A Certified Notary Signing Agent is a Notary Public who has acquired additional training and certifications and in some instances insurance, bonding and Notary background check to perform more complicated transactions. There are only a handful of CERTIFIED Notary Signing Agents in the entire state. Along with your run-of-the-mill documents that are normally notarized, Powers of Attorney, Wills, Affidavits, Acknowledgments and the like, CNSAs take on a larger role by assisting companies to oversee tougher notary assignments. These assignments include, but are not limited to: Out-of-State Home Sales (also called Seller-side Documents), Out-of-State Home Purchases (Borrower or Buyer's-Side Documents), Debt Settlements, Structured Settlements (Annuity Lump-Sum), Loan Applications and Loan Modifications. The trend for notaries to come out to residents has increased tremendously in the last 10 years [For all of the different documents I have signed you can reference my website at www.GreenvilleNotary.com]. I would like the opportunity to tell the full story of what a CNSA is to the public because #1, the companies who contract need more people from this area and #2, Notaries Public who are not making any money with their commissions have the opportunity to work with the likes of Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, Old Republic Title, North American Title, Ocwen, The David Law Firm. In short, you might want to hire me!
