Greenwheel brings an innovation challenge program that focuses on the circular economy in agriculture, understanding the different challenges of farmers and small-farms today to achieve a healthy food system across Southeast Asian countries.In partnership with the EWC Innovation and Environment course, this project involves the development and delivery of a virtual certificate with digital badge supported by the EWC and Credly in circular agriculture. Inspired by the Small Farm Innovation Challenge by the US Community Alliance with Family Farmers, the badge will be offered to competitors who complete all requirements leading to and during a 3-day virtual innovation challenge program. While most digital badges are offered through a virtual course, this project seeks to provide a more engaging experience to learn deeply about modern agriculture in a new model of economy, circular economy, as designing prototypes with startup knowledge, digital opportunities and multi-stakeholders to help solve one of the challenges facing farms today.
