Greenwood Fuels is committed to delivering cost-effective renewable fuels by converting non-recyclable waste into an environmentally friendly alternative or supplement to coal. We transform paper mill sludge, packaging waste, and traditionally non-recyclable materials destined for a landfill into a renewable fuel pellet. + First plant opened in Green Bay, WI, in 2009, and is currently slated to open 40 more facilities over the next 5 years. + Customers include universities, paper pills, and other coal-burning businesses. Our pellets have not only enabled them to reduce their consumption of fossil fuels, but have also allowed them meet or exceed renewable standards. + Greenwood pellets closely replicate the energy, storage and handling characteristics of coal without the harmful emissions.
