Greer Relief is a nonprofit human service organization dedicated to providing safety-net, stabilizing, and one-stop services--every neighbor matters. We seek to reflect the diversity of the community and are committed to partnerships that support healthy lifestyles and families. Emergency assistance may include:Case Management ~ Referrals ~ Food ~ Financial SupportStabilizing :: Tools to End the CycleAfter providing safety net assistance, neighbors are referred to additional resources to positively affect their circumstances long term. Further assistance comes from Greer Relief and/or other community organizations/volunteers. Verne Smith Center was established by then SC Senator J. Verne Smith, who saw the need for bringing services to the people and asked Greer Relief to take on the responsibility of managing the program.
