We at the Griffith University Community Internship offer not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises an opportunity to secure university students, studying a wide range of professional fields, for 50 hours. Our objectives are:< to involve our students in volunteering for the community and broaden their understanding of community needs and< to assist in meeting the needs of our not-for-profit partner organisations.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?< Have access to as many dedicated students as required< Offer as many roles as you like multiple times a year< Fresh and innovative approach to your team< Students from a full range of professional areas< Access to professional resources, for example, online support materials, professional development workshops and networking events< Professional indemnity and public liability insurances covered by the University while the student is on placementWHAT IS EXPECTED IN RETURN?Our aim is to create a successful and sustainable partnership with you by working collaboratively towards mutually beneficial outcomes.We achieve this by providing you with comprehensive support and guidance throughout the internship.
