Grind to a Halt, Inc. is a company that sells attractive and durable skateboard deterrents for walls, benches, handrails, etc. Our products are called GrinderMinders and Handrail Minders. We are also a company that loves and embraces beautiful spaces, wonderful outdoor art and architecture, and landscape design that transforms. Being a part of beautiful spaces is a main goal of ours.Property owners and caretakers worldwide are pondering the existence of skateboarding with their own reality of needing to keep their properties free from damage while safeguarding pedestrians. The point here is not to outlaw skateboarding, but to encourage skateboarders to enjoy their activity where they are welcome. Many municipalities and property owners are creating answers to this issue with fashionable use of landscaping and street furniture, (and GrinderMInders!). In some cases, these areas are built to accept skateboarding. In other cases, skateboard deterrents are either installed or integrated into the plan to discourage skateboarding. Our product, the GrinderMinder™, is a simple and elegant 1" diameter stainless steel head with a stem that gets inserted into the edge of surfaces that need protection. There are 3 shape options: ball, cylinder, and hemisphere, in either stainless steel or black oxide. It is a design that compliments both contemporary and traditional landscaping elements. The GrinderMinder™ also affords flexibility, as it can be placed where needed, usually along edges of planters and retaining walls, but also on other unusual surfaces. So, please take a look at us.
