Grinsect engages in mass breeding, rearing and processing of the black soldier fly (BSF) for feed purposes and is also into developing and automating the BSF breeding and processing technology. The purpose of our innovation is to produce protein in an eco-friendly way by reducing our ecological footprint as much as possible while offering alternative solutions for waste management and feed production.Our mission is to become a market stimulator and educator economic operator in Hungary and the region by promoting precision farming, environmental awareness and a farm level, vertical insect farming. We aim to provide alternative solutions for global and local problems such as the growing environmental pressure of the huge amount of unprocessed organic waste and protein crisis due to the transformed consumer behaviour.We mass breed BSF under sterile conditions in the very first licensed vertical insect protein manufacturing facility in Hungary. The products are sold for feeding purposes in a live form (eggs, larvae, pupae) and in processed form as premium protein products (insect flour/insect meal or insect oil) on our website.Grinsect has got vast experience and unique know-how in black soldier fly farming in the region and in Hungary as well, which guarantees that you will find all the equipment and tools that you possibly need for BSF breeding at home or in a small or large scale facility.
