Fixed blade and folders & related tools. Grohmann Knives is a family business which began manufacturing the famous Canadian-designed D.H. Russell belt knife in 1957. The company expanded and incorporated in 1974 and now makes many D.H. Russell and Grohmann outdoor models, all featuring rosewood handles and oil-tanned leather sheaths. Grohmann's knives have long been recognized for their superior quality. They were displayed in the Canadian Exhibition at the World Fair in Brussels in 1958, and during the same year Grohmann received a design award from the National Industrial Design Council of Canada. In 1962, Grohmann was selected by Sports Illustrated and by the U.S. National Sporting Goods Association to take part in the Design for Sport exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Grohmann's knives have been also offered at Canadian Boy Scout International Jamborees since 1977.
