My name is Joshua Gross, I am a husband and a father. I have been dealing with technology since I was in middle school, where a friend and I started an electronic repair company which lasted until we went to college. In college I worked on campus for their IT department and then got hired full time as the Law Schools' Coordinator of Media Support. After graduating with a BA in Communications, I continued to work for the University of Akron. After 8 years of working there I moved to Virginia where I met my wife and got married. I now am the Director of Information and Communications Technology at a small company.My son was born in 2017 and since then has changed our lives. He is amazing and I wouldn't change being a father for anything. With my new title, came a lot of concerns that I never had to deal with. Safety of my family became a huge part of my life and I wanted to incorporate technology into that. Thus leading to the creation of Gross Technology. I love technology and with all the new advancements in home tech I have had my hands full on becoming an expert in that area.Gross Tech is focused on people like me, parents, who love technology and want their families lives to benefit from the new technology that can be in the house.
