It is said that "parenting is the toughest job you'll ever have", yet parents are not offered the development opportunities one would get in a traditional work setting. Grounded Parents Group aims to offer this support. We acknowledge that our children's struggles and successes affect us deeply. To be able to fully see them and support them through it, we need to know how to love and support ourselves first. At Grounded Parents Group, we do not tell you how to parent but instead hold a space for you to explore who you are as a parent. We believe that parenting is not something we are meant to do perfectly. We know it is messy, uncertain and open to criticism and judgement. It is filled with both heartwarming and heartbreaking experiences that give purpose and meaning to our lives. To be on this journey, to create wholehearted families and strong connections with each other, we deserve a space as parents where we can strengthen and deepen our own roots of unconditional self-acceptance.
