GFC a volunteer and student-run, not-for-profit coffee house on the campus of Allegheny College. This organization and venue provides an alternative space on campus for socializing, studying, intellectual discussion, and debate, as well as for community and campus events. GFC strives to support environmentally sustainable practices. These practices include purchasing organic, fair trade, and locally grown and produced products, as well as using recycled products, mugs, and other items. GFC is a not for profit business, which means that any proceeds go back into the upkeep and improvement of the space or into events for the student body.
