growITup, a one-of- a-kind project on the European panorama promoted by Fondazione Cariplo together with Microsoft, focused to promote innovation by putting into contact, in open collaboration, large corporations that are an expression of Made in Italy with promising start-ups, with the dual goal of sustaining the growth of our country's young innovative firms on the one hand and on the other of accelerating the digital transformation of outstanding Italian corporations that are successful at worldwide level. growITup will avail itself of a dedicated team of people led by Anders Nilsson, formerly Innovation Director of Microsoft Italia, and Enrico Noseda, previously in charge of Global Partnerships for Skype. The goal is to pool the wealth of know-how and skills of the actors involved to spark a virtuous cycle of innovation, growth and development. The start-ups that take part in the program will be selected on the basis of the match between their business focus and the needs of big Italian sectors of excellence.
