A full line supplier of rental equipment. Originally, just a small general rental operation, GRS Rents & Gala Events grew to become the largest full line equipment and event rental supplier in McHenry County. GRS Rents, founded in 1992 as a Grand Rental Station franchise, provided everything from hand tools to 300 class excavators and aerial lifts. Gala Events, an offshoot of GRS Rents, provided full line event rental products for events from 10 people to 6500 people. Gala rented clearspan tents, pole tents, tables, chairs, linens, power equipment, sound equipment, lighting, dance floors, inflatables, staging, and so much more. The business was closed in 2013 as the owner made the decision to retire.
