Grupo Bamex, S.A de C.V., founded in 1948, is a manufacturer and distributor of men's apparel in Mexico, stronger in woven shirts and slacks. The company has a long standing relationship with all department stores, where we are among the strongest in basic dress shirt replenishment programs, and also with most specialty men's retailers nationwide, through a sales force of around 25 agents.We have a strong back office, supported by a state-of-the-art ERP with e-links to the stores, and a customer oriented sales service team. Our main market is that of the mature man, 30 to 70, where our brands are mainly positioned. We also sell a kid's line. We pride ourselves in taking good care of brands and always taking long term marketing decisions. Mexico has been the tombstone of countless brands, and our licensed brand, John Henry, commands out-the-door prices more than double that of the U.S. and brand prestige is much higher.
