Food Production - Ibirité, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Operating in the market since 1988, the SUPREMO CARNES GROUP is headquartered in Ibirité-MG, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. Reference in the Brazilian beef market, each year we present greater strength and credibility, planning and developing customized products and services that meet the most demanding quality standards. The history of Supremo began with the São Sebastião butcher shop, the first butcher shop owned by the partners Sandro and Luís Carlos. In 1990, just two years later, following the entrepreneurial spirit that would accompany the entire trajectory of the company, they inaugurated the SUPREMO CARNES GROUP, already qualified for federal inspection (S.I.F.). The following years were of growth and evolution. In 1999, Supremo became one of the pioneers in the state of Minas Gerais to produce and sell vacuum-packed meats. With planning, effort, daring and hard work, in 2008 Supremo arrived at Carlos Chagas, one of the regions with the largest production of cattle in the country, with state-of-the-art structure and equipment, excellence in logistics and cattle slaughter. The expansion strategy and the improvement of management practices proved to be correct and the production capacity of the SUPREMO CARNES GROUP tripled, leaving the sphere of Minas Gerais to serve all the states of the country. Today, the SUPREMO CARNES GROUP has more than 1,300 direct employees and produces approximately 300 tons of meat per day. The group has become a reference in the beef market, due to its constant philosophy of excellence, dedication and commitment to developing quality products.
