Public Policy - New Delhi, Delhi, India
Global School of Policy and Citizen Engagement (GS-PACE) is a forum to engage people through public policy dialogues and changemaking processes. The vision is to empower citizens with 21st century skills and public policy tools, to positively impact the SPACE they inhabit. A SPACE is defined as the dimensions of height, depth, and width within which all things exist and move. At GS-PACE, we aim to amalgamate elements of policy, leadership, and citizen engagement in shaping the societies of present and make them ready for a sustainable future. GS-PACE is founded by the alumni of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, the National University of Singapore and supported by public policy academicians and practitioners across the globe. Our mentors are drawn from the Government of India, United Nations, National University of Singapore, World Bank, Niti Aayog, and more. GS-PACE mission is to engage and empower 10,000 participants by December 2023 to work towards solving the wicked problems of our times, under the framework of UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our programs are designed by experts from the respective fields and are taught through a combination of case studies, role plays and group discussions. We work with partners for most of our programmes to offer live projects to each of our participants. The intent of these projects is to give them opportunity to critically analyse and apply their classroom learnings in solving real life problems.
