GTO ( also known as "The GTO Global Family " and " The GTO Network " ) is a membership driven worldwide network of excellent companies engaged in international logistics. The GTO Network now has excellent members and agents in over 195+ countries and over 750 + cities worldwide.Every GTO member and agent throughout the world is considered an expert in international logistics with extensive knowledge and experience on a local basis but also engaged in moving all types of air and sea cargo to and from points worldwide. Each member company is carefully reviewed and vetted prior to being accepted by the GTO Board of Directors as full members of GTO. GTO HQ Operations Houston also maintains a database ( GTO Agent Referral List " of excellent agents in " open " locations to allow evaluation of the companies for potential membership in GTO. Since June, 2000, GTO has convened Annual World Conferences to provide excellent opportunities for representatives of GTO member companies to meet one another face-to-face to strengthen their strong and very productive relationships. Such Annual GTO World Conferences have been held in such locations as Houston ( Texas, U.S. ) Miami ( Florida, U.S. ), Denver ( Colorado, U.S. ), Freeport ( Grand Bahama, The Bahamas ) Milan, Brussels, Shanghai, Barcelona, San Jose ( Costa Rica ), Mumbai ( India ), Tallinn ( Estonia ), Durban ( South Africa ), Ho Chi Minh ( Vietnam ) and other locations.
