Our business began at a kitchen table in Cheraw, SC in the early 1970's. Founder, Clyde Goodwin took to pencil and paper and worked up taxes for family and friends. Clyde became known for his quickness, accuracy, and wit. So the business grew. As more people began to come to GTS, Clyde's reputation grew with his clients as well as the IRS. At one point, this one man show was awarded by the IRS - Most Accurate Reporting for a MEDIUM size tax business.Today, GTS operates across the Carolinas. In the hometown GTS office, Clyde still greets customers with a smile and hug. He still plugs along with pencil and paper, although computers now do the "fun" work (his words). In 2017, the business expanded service locations as well as offerings to our clients. Today, we provide accurate tax preparation for individuals, bookingkeeping and accounting services to corporate clients, along with government reporting, human resource services, payroll services and much more. GTS Carolinas is in the business to provide Accurate, Professional, and Value Added services to help our clients with their tax, accounting and HR needs.
