Yes, I'm an asshole.ArtistHere's to life;I got into photography because of my mom's personal interest in it. When I went to Venezuela a few years back, she gave me her Pentax as a present as she hadn't used for it years and was all forgotten in a corner collecting dust. She was and is a good artist.I brought it back to Madrid and started photographing right after finishing my Cinematographer's diploma. I believe today that black and white's grandiosity stands as a revolution against the everyday life concept that is itself the essence of my photography.I bet on making art from the already set life by portraying regular and small happenings on the streets; A man's stare, a kid playing, a woman smiling. I see my photography as an attempt to redeem life from it's own drama and as a reminder that in truth It's all a joke.Ever since I started art itself I developed some kind of grudge against my B/W.I see my black and whites as the vision of my own inmature self. Someone who embraced the monochrome's lie hoping with it that he wouldn't be forced to accept that people, including myself and those that I love; suck and that no matter how good I get, most curves in life can't be dodge because truth is shit happens. This is why I have choosen to display all photographs randomly, family, moments, partys, girls, all together as one big pile of experiences that are moments that took part in my life. Layers of gray is what I believe life to be.So, I leave you to it and hope that here after all this intensity about the #noonegivesafuck black and white you find the answer to the question; How did the cat get so fat?
