Government Relations - Jersey City, New Jersey, United States
The Guarini Institute for Government and Leadership at Saint Peter's University aims to provide a non-partisan forum for discussion of key public policy issues at the local, state and national level. The Institute sponsors a speakers series, roundtable discussions, and other events to stimulate discussion around critical topics. Each year, the Guarini Institute for Government and Leadership invites key leaders to share their perspectives on critical issues of importance while allowing our students to learn about public service and becoming involved in the policy process. Since 2004, Saint Peter's University proudly maintains NGO status at the United Nations through the UN's Department of Public Information (DPI). In conjunction with associated NGO's, DPI seeks to reach the world at large in order to help people better understand the aims and work of the United Nations. Additionally, each year the Guarini Institute hosts the High School Model UN (SPUHSMUN) and the Harvard Model UN.
