We are not an advertising agency. We are Guava Cay Media, a collective of bad-ass creators, wanderers, misfits, digital gurus, regular run of the mill gurus (don't ask us to read your fortune), freethinkers, day dreamers, insomniacs, cafesito addicts that cant seem to agree on who makes the best cafesito in the office even though we all well know that the winner is Illana, Patrick's grandma.We do things our own way. We cultivate. We doodle. We walk around in our birthday suits. We make up handshakes. We get sad. We get mad. But most importantly we have fun.The idea of thinking outside the box and breaking all the rules is so important to us, we're always trying new things. Putting a video upside down on Instagram might seem like a ludicrous idea for some, but we learned something about our audience that day. We learned that they don't like their videos to be upside. Noted. We're certainly not right for everyone. When you have a marketing problem, we don't come back to you with a bunch of numerical boring factual facts. We don't produce content, we create eye ball gagging visual anarchy. We don't write captions, we craft tantalizing, irrevocable verbal labyrinths, that create a sense of wonder that compels your audience to ask "What the hell are they saying?" and "Why can't I stop looking at this?".But as a marketing agency that's not a marketing agency, but has instead transcended definition, these are just some of the challenges we face here at Guava Cay Media. Some may call us lunatics. Others may call us innovators. And a select few marketing directors will call us exactly what we are - a combination of over caffeinated creators that live on cloud nine 38/14. One thing is for sure though, the work we create here is unique and can not be re-produced.
