A local information and news experiment by Jack Fisher and Eli Ridder.The COVID-19 pandemic has changed everything. Most critical during this time is to receive a mix of local, provincial and national guidance and information. Starting with Guelph and working upwards, the GuelphWire is a news project that aims to inform, inspire and analyze with speed and accuracy.Jack Fisher is an independent journalist focused on data visualization and interactive content. He holds a BAH from the University of Guelph, and a post-graduate certificate from Sheridan College in journalism. A sample of Jack's writing can be found at defunctmayhem.com.Eli Ridder is an accomplished freelance reporter with stories in the Guelph Mercury Tribune, Guelph Politico, Humber News and Humber Et Cetera. He is a Humber College journalism student in Toronto but is based in Guelph for the duration of the pandemic.
