Enter the tranquil world of the Guesthouse Lost River, an award winning Bed & Breakfast and Inn located in Hardy County, WV (approx. 2 hours from Washington DC and 3 hours Baltimore, MD). Our Inn has been a relaxation getaway destination for over 30 years. It is located on 30 private acres and surrounded by the George Washington National Forest with views of the mountains and spectacular sunsets. We are located just off the beaten path with quick access from Washington DC, Baltimore MD, Pittsburgh PA, Richmond VA, Harrisonburg VA and more! The Guesthouse Lost River has been named "Best Weekend Getaway" from DC and featured in several Washington DC and Baltimore publications including a feature by Washingtonian Magazine. In 2012, the Guesthouse was awarded with a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor which less than 10% of properties receive. In the Guesthouse building there is a full 24 hour gym and media room. The Guesthouse Lodge consists of several large gathering/relaxation spaces, pool table, game room, breakfast room, spa, restaurant and lounge. We are located on 30 acres without over 30,000 square feet under roof. This does not include our pool, hot tub and numerous outdoor patio and decking.
