Guided Home Design came to life when Karen Ippolito was finishing construction on her 16th home in 2003. Her design aesthetic, known for strong attention to fine details, became highly sought after. She opted to utilize her experience, energy and talent to establish an Interior Design business. As business continued knocking on the door, it was time to expand the GHD team. Kristen Hancock was brought on as an intern with the company while completing her Design degree at Arizona State University. Karen and Kristen immediately hit it off as a team and have been designing together ever since.As co-owners of the company, Karen and Kristen are committed to delivering their projects above and beyond their clients expectations. They take pride in the way their company combines function and aesthetic to create an environment that is both timeless and fresh within a full range of styles. This has lead them to become an award winning firm, with multiple Design Excellence Awards on behalf of the American Society of Interior Designers.GHD is continuing to grow, expanding their team with diversely talented designers. The team's knowledge has involved them in Residential and Commercial projects which has led them to working seamlessly with Architects and Builders on new homes as well as remodels. The team travels across country to Furniture Markets to stay immersed in the latest and greatest products to source for their clients.
