The mission behind Guitars Gathering Dust is a simple one ... a group of like minded people who all believe in the joy and empowerment that being able to play a musical instrument brings to ones life are creating a more structured pathway for second hand guitars to be repaired and recirculated and used in existing children based musical education charities such as The Song Room and The Australian Children's Music Foundation.Current statistics show that approximately three in four Australian children are currently missing out on music education in schools.
