In 1996 Guy's & St Thomas' Trust (GSTT) was contracted by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to ensure that the people across the British Forces Germany (BFG) community have access to high quality hospital services, that are broadly equivalent to the care available in the NHS. Contracts are in place with specific hospitals to provide and manage hospital care in each region across Germany. These are known as Designated German Provider Hospitals (DGPs). Military personnel, their families and those contracted by the MOD to work in Germany, are eligible to access services and care at these hospitals. In addition to directly arranging hospital and outpatient care in regional settings, GSTT works closely with all the medical services across British Forces (Germany), to offer you a seamless service.\\The SSAFA GSTT Care LLP is responsible for the delivery of Primary and Community Care services on behalf of BFGHS.
