Woodworking is my primary attention with lighting systems; floor, reading, ceiling, desk lights are an interest that I return to repeatedly. When exploring space, lumination draws me in and guides me through the environment. I have been working on a lamp design for eight years and recently reached a level of contentment with a final prototype. Is now ready for primetime. My Canada 150 project, I challenged myself using my newly gained painting interest to paint 150 Canadian Skies (acrylic on watercolour paper 19 cm X 28 cm). Many of the 150 skies evolved into collages. I set a goal that pushed me to work on my art every day; this made me a better artist. My latest experiment is painting on vellum to create lampshades.
