We are dedicated to providing you current, up-to-date educational resources to assistance those suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction. GWC was founded in 1981 in Belleville, Illinois. In the decades since, thousands of treatment programs and millions of people with addiction problems have sought help through GWC's innovative programs. We have been privileged to work with nationally known experts such as, Dr. David Ohlms, Delbert Boone, Dr. Cardwell C. Nuckols, Michael Johnson, Carl Reddick, Father Martin, Rosetta Oliver, Darryl Turpin, Guy Wheeler, Bob Francis and many others who's emphasizes is on early intervention, patient education, behavior modification, family involvement and community support. GWC has pioneered many of the intervention and training tools used across the country today that help people find hope and healing from their addiction to alcohol, drugs and an anti-social lifestyle. And even after 30 years GWC remains committed to further expanding its influence so that more people are educated not just about the problem, but about the solution.
