Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.Habitat for Humanity of Effingham County was founded on the idea of helping those in need. Since our organization was established, we have endeavored to provide help where the need is greatest. Our team consists of a small staff that relies on volunteers to fulfil our mission.
