Habitat Youth Leaders is focused on providing equal access to the youth community from all backgrounds to develop necessary life skills such as leadership, time management, problem solving, communication, as well as technical skills that are not as emphasized in school such as public speaking, basic financial literacy, and email writing. In addition, we are focused on fostering social interaction during COVID, hindered for many through distanced learning. Elementary school is the most formative time for a child to develop these vital soft skills, and ultimately a "growth mindset" aka an endless passion for learning.
