HAC - Herzliya Accelerator CenterThe HAC- Herzliya Accelerator Center is an initiative of the Municipality of Herzliya. We run 3 formats: Co-working Space, Open Encointers and an Urban Accelerator Program.The Urban Accelerator Program focuses on improving community life in the city, urban innovation, urbansolutions, and urban lifestyle. The next round will focus on Smart Cities, IoT and community life in the city.Our main goal is to help early stage startups through the capabilities of the Herzliya Municipality. This is anexclusive Municipality initiative, providing a full four to six month program for startups through thecapabilities of the Herzliya Municipality, with first-class mentors, a leading figure as a member in theAdvisory Board and pro bono managements.The start-ups also get the benefit of:- Access to the Municipality public database- Access to the Municpality Heads of Departments- An opportunity to conduct a proof-of- concept (POC) or paid pilot, with the Municipality- Alumni assistance and mentoring hours- Connecting startups with the Municipality as a potential customer- The Municipality promotes the Center for innovation and progress, and community ventures in Israel, inorder to benefit the city's residents, optimize services and communications.The five month program includes sessions on going to the market, different models, defining the idea andproduct. During the second month, the teams will have intense meetings with mentors, focusing on thedevelopment of their product, defining the business model and will undergo workshops designed especiallyfor them. The emphasis on the five month program will focus on marketing, pitching, presentations andstanding in front of an audience. In addition, the upcoming round will include cooperation with CellcomThe cycle ends with DEMO DAY for investors and potential customers.The Accelerator is intended for:- Entrepreneurs with technological vision, development, marketing and programming capabilities
