By bringing creative and engaged citizens all over the world together in hackathons (sprintlike innovation competitions often held online) and other events, we aim to find real solutions to the 17 global goals, and bringing them to life. Our mission is creating sustainable tech solutions for the good of society through citizendriven innovation - and in so doing, reinventing democracy for the 21st century. A Swedish foundation with a global reach, we are a non-political, non-religious, non-profit organisation who has the interest of the citizens of the world at heart. Founded in 2021 by Ann Molin, our core values are these three good things: Sustainability, Diversity and Impact. Sustainability- the UN 17 global goals is at the heart at everything we do. Together with all parts of society - private and public sector, academia and citizens - we will find the solutions we need for the society of tomorrow.Diversity- we believe that the best solutions for society comes from bringing all kinds of competences, backgrounds, ages and experiences together, breaking down silos and barriers and building new bridges in the process.Impact - a great idea is nothing if it isn't made a reality. By supporting the best solutions from our hackathons and other events, Hack for Earth Foundation will be an active partner in creating real tools for people to use in their everyday life.
