Arts and Crafts - Philadelphia, PA, US
Hagopian Arts is an Armenian fine art and mural collective based out of both Philadelphia and Vermont. We are a family artist team (Kala Hagopian & father Philip Hagopian), creating unique works ranging from small paintings to large scale murals. Our style is based in traditional fine art while integrating modern painterly aesthetics. Although our work varies in subject we draw inspiration from nature and often juxtapose realistic elements with colorful shapes and patterns. Philip Hagopian's work ranges from impressionistic figurative, landscape, and still life painting to multi-dimensional surrealism. He exhibits nationally and internationally and his works are featured in the permanent collections of many distinguished collectors. Kala Hagopian, co-founder of the former Fine Art Collective, Chroma Dolls LLC has worked with numerous education and community outreach programs such as The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, The Philadelphia Women's Conference, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Zappos Art, Beautify Earth, The Hillside School, The Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, RAW:Natural Born Artists, Shore2Love, Center For The Emerging Visual Artists, Project Street Art, The Youth Violence Reduction Partnership, Sobriety Through Out-Patient, JEVS Human Services, The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention, Horizon House, Fairton Correctional Institute, at-risk youth and adults, The Boys & Girls Club, as well as a range of participants of all ages. Along with community projects, Hagopian Arts works with individual clients, small businesses, and large corporations, creating custom murals that enhance and transform their environment. Hagopian Arts combine their aesthetic and diverse backgrounds to create truly unique works of art in the form of small and large scale paintings, murals, and public art pieces.
