The Haier Institute of Industrial Intelligence, an institute of COSMOPlat, located in Qingdao Sino-German Eco Park, was born from the project cooperation among Haier Group, Fraunhofer Institutes and Tsinghua University in 2016. The institute is dedicated in researching, developing and introducing the advanced technologies applied in smart manufacturing and industrial internet and upgrading the manufacturing. It is one of the world leading institutes of industrial intelligence and the very first mass customization testbed for "Intelligence+5G", integrating the global resource of companies, universities, institutes and investments and realizing the multi-technology applications in the industrial scenarios.
