Twenty years ago I was an avid quilter but because my growing family was consuming all the ‘art space' in our home I had to find a hobby that was suitable for our 100+ year old cellar. I tried a fused glass class through University of Missouri – Kansas City's Communiversity Program about 15 years ago, loved it, and discovered this was a great hobby that could be done in the ‘dungeon' below our home Ten years later and here I am sharing what I know with others.Half Glass Studio was created because of my desire to teach and share art; I love to encourage students and have always been inspired by the fantastic creations that result. I hope that Half Glass Studio becomes your favorite place to get together and share ideas, to learn new skills, and to have fun!
