HAM Club of Kumaraguru is a platform to get HAM Licence and to explore in the field of radio communication. This club equip the members in the field of wireless and RF technology. HAM club of Kumaraguru was setup on 23-10-2009. In Tamil Nadu, Kumaraguru College of Technology is the 1st engineering college to have a HAM base station.Being a HAM license holder one could be able to voice to other end listeners, the valuable data.The HAM club helps in writing ASOC examination and becoming a part in the HAM community. It helps to communicate with people from various domain and of different age group. Amateur Radio (HAM radio) is a popular hobby and service that brings people, electronics and communication together. People use ham radio to talk across town, around the world, or even into space, all without the Internet or cell phones. It's fun, social, educational, and can be a lifeline during times of need.
